Lox Club is on a mission to bring back the magic of third spaces. We work from home, scroll tiktok for 7 hours a day, and somehow live without the deeply needed mental health benefits our grandparents got from their country club or local pub hangouts. Lox Club aims to solve this adult loneliness epidemic by building niche, app-based members clubs that foster community and genuine connections. Our first product, Lox Club, is a members club for Jew-ish people with ridiculously high standards. Originating as a satirical take on dating apps, Lox Club has evolved into an immersive experience offering IRL events, offline group activities, and dating/matchmaking features. As we expand our ecosystem of member clubs and broader member base, we are looking for a dynamic Director of Sales & Partnerships to drive revenue growth and strategic partnerships that resonate with our brand ethos.

The Role

The Director of Sales & Partnerships will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies that enhance our revenue streams across matchmaking and broader partnership opportunities, including newsletters, events, media, and other verticals. This leadership position requires a blend of strategic vision, team development, and a deep understanding of sales and premium brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for matchmaking services, sponsorships, and brand partnerships.

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that align with Lox Club’s brand and community values.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, events, and content teams to develop compelling offerings and sponsorship packages.

  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize sales performance metrics using data-driven insights.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure high retention and satisfaction.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on sales performance and market opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of sales and/or sales leadership experience. Experience in selling premium services, media, and/or event sponsorships preferred.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams, processes, and results.

  • Possess a robust network within premium brands, media buyers, and potential corporate sponsors.

  • Exceptional communicator and negotiator with strong leadership skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.

  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
