About Us

Lox Club’s mission is to bring back the magic of third spaces. We work from home, scroll tiktok for 7 hours a day, and somehow live without the deeply needed mental health benefits our grandparents got from their country club or local pub hangouts. Lox Club aims to solve this adult loneliness epidemic by building niche, app-based members clubs that foster community and genuine connections. Our first product, Lox Club, is a members club for Jew-ish people with ridiculously high standards. Originating as a satirical take on dating apps, Lox Club has evolved into an immersive experience offering IRL events, offline group activities, and dating/matchmaking features. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate Head of Community & Experiences to lead our community engagement initiatives and ensure our members feel connected, valued, and inspired.

The Role

The Head of Community & Experiences will oversee all facets of community engagement, including events, IRL activations, membership strategies, and trust & safety. This leadership role is pivotal in creating and maintaining a vibrant and inclusive community that aligns with Lox Club’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a holistic community engagement strategy to enhance member experience and loyalty.

  • Oversee events and IRL activations, ensuring high-quality and engaging experiences that resonate with our community and uphold our brand standards.

  • Oversee the Membership Committee, managing member onboarding, engagement, retention, and feedback collection.

  • Oversee trust & safety policies to maintain community standards.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to leverage community insights for growth initiatives and content development.

  • Act as the primary advocate for community members, addressing their needs and continuously improving member satisfaction.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years experience in community management, events, membership clubs, or related fields.

  • Proven track record in event production and/or building and engaging communities.

  • Deep understanding of trust & safety best practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Creative, empathetic, and passionate about fostering genuine connections.
